Delivering quality subdivision infrastructure in Rotorua
The Wharenui Rise Subdivision project in Ōwhata, Rotorua, involved full civil works and site preparation to support new residential development.
Working in collaboration with Moons Civil & Drainage as the main contractor, Crossroads Civil provided ground improvement, pavement construction, drainage installation, and site testing to ensure the development met all compliance and quality standards.

Scope of Work
Site establishment & traffic management: Project setup and on-site traffic safety.
Site preparation: Subgrade trimming, rolling, and compaction to specification.
Ground improvement: Undercutting soft spots, geofabric installation, and GAP65 placement.
Subgrade stabilisation: Cement and lime stabilisation followed by AP40 subbase construction.
Drainage: Installation of under-channel drains with Bidim cloth and sump connections.
Roading: Asphalt right-of-ways built on GAP40 basecourse.
Testing: Full site and road testing for compliance and quality assurance.
